Dear Chris,
I just wanted to send you a personal message to thank you for the wonderful night's stay my mother and I had at West lodge Park.
It was really memorable! The ambience, service, food and was frankly superb and cannot be faulted! The added touches of Paul Jaffa playing at dinner is also a masterstroke!
Please pass on our thanks to everyone who was working last Saturday and Sunday.

Dear Andrew

[We would like to] thank you so much for the nice room - #20 - we had on Saturday.

The cookies were good with morning coffee and the 'room service' lunch and afternoon tea and special 'wedding' cake were fantastic! Fish cake and sweet potato fries, frangipane tarts, washed down with a glass of Picpoul de Pinet wine. Yum!!

The Royal Wedding was spectacular. I sat on the end of the bed photographing it with my camera. I felt as though I were there!
We obtained 'The Times' and 'The Sunday Telegraph' and will get 'Hello' magazine to enjoy the expert coverage and photos.

Good evening,

I am a guest staying with my daughter in Larch (room 36). Just wanted to congratulate you on such a wonderful family business. I haven't enjoyed a stay away from home as much ever before. It is rare to find such a beautiful hotel combined with amazing, thoughtful and attentive staff who have made our stay an absolute pleasure.
I am not sure why you are a 4 star hotel - personally I have stayed in a few 5 star hotels which are far below the standards of West Lodge Park!
So many thoughtful touches.
I particularly want to mention Andrew, who has just phoned to offer to bring our dessert separately so the ice cream doesn't melt!
He is a real credit to you - so customer focused and thoughtful.
Also would like to mention Fiz on reception who has been so accommodating and understanding about assisting with our booking.
As the owner of a small business I know how important it is to value and motivate your staff so felt it was essential to pass our thoughts to you.
Thank you for a lovely stay - you must (and should) be very proud!

He not only took personal care to advise me about a room reservation and helped with early check-in for an extremely tired Army Officer but also then provided that same level of outstanding service to that guest, Thom Gray.

Dear Sirs,

On Thursday 21st September, 2017, my wife & I were fortunate enough to enjoy an evening meal, bed & breakfast at West Lodge Park hotel. This came about as a result of having won the Steward’s Draw at Herts Show stewards’ meeting. We must first apologise for the delay in replying to your email enquiring as to our experience at the hotel. Not long after your email, we were both unfortunate enough to have a
series of health problems which rather overtook our lives (nothing whatever to do with our hotel stay!). We have only recently regained our normal health status. On wishing to refer back to your email request for feedback, we were somewhat dismayed to find that without authority from either of us, it had been removed from our computer system. We would now like to inform you that we really enjoyed our stay and that everything about it, was, in our view, absolutely excellent in every respect. The staff were very welcoming and most attentive. Our accommodation was extremely comfortable. The food at both meals was excellent, and overall we felt that the experience could not have been bettered.
Thank you all once again for providing us with such a truly memorable experience.
