At West Lodge Park, we pride ourselves in creating a family friendly environment for you and your loved ones to enjoy and feel part of. That is why we've created various family-friendly things for you to do, including Orienteering, putting lawn and extra spacious Family bedrooms and suites so you can really relax and unwind when you arrive.

Our Family Suite Bedrooms are made up of 2 interconnecting rooms 17 & 18, 48 & 49, plus the exclusive Hadley Suite for that extra space if required. Each room has its own bathroom, and double bed.
We also have individual family rooms that have a double bed plus sofa bed and most of our Spacious Rooms will accommodate a z-bed.
Our sumptuous goose feather & down duvets & pillows and fluffy towels are the least you can expect, when you spend the night at West Lodge Park, each Bedroom is individually designed and have a character of their own.
Children’s afternoon tea
Indulge in an afternoon of sandwiches & sweet treats for you and your little ones. You won’t hear a peep from them whilst they feast their eyes and tummies, you might even have your eye on their jammy dodger…
Cucumber & cheese sandwiches, on brown bread
Plain scone, Strawberry jam & clotted cream
Strawberry tart, Jammie Dodger, Chocolate brownie cake pop
Vanilla milk shake
Served between 2pm & 5pm daily, please order in advance
Onsite children’s activities
We have 35 acres of imagination and exploring to be done. Finding a variety of the biggest tree in the world or guessing how the monkey puzzle tree is named are just two of the many natural wonders in the grounds.
Besides exploring the arboretum, we have a number of onsite activities;
A fun junior orienteering course. Take a map and try to find the 10 flags around the arboretum. Exchange your completed card at reception and receive a prize.
Kite flying on the top field, we provide the kites but not the wind!
Try your hand at our Croquet or Putting lawns
Take a coin and make a wish at our Wishing well,
Carp ponds, take your koi carp food from reception and see which is the biggest fish that comes from the depths!
