Detailed instructions on how to find us

Postal Address:

West Lodge Park, Cockfosters Road, Hadley Wood, Enfield. EN4 0PY.

From M25:

Turn off the M25 at Junction 24 and take the turning marked Cockfosters A111. After less than a mile, turn left into Ferny Hill at the third mini roundabout and immediately left into the hotel drive.

Please be aware that we are within the newly expanded London ULEZ.

However as of December 2023, the first ULEZ Sicore II ANPR camera is located 140m past the Cockfosters Road/Ferny Hill junction, in the direction of Cockfosters to the south.

Given that the range of the cameras is just 10-28m, if you have a non-ULEZ car you will not be caught by the camera.

If you need to drive to Cockfosters Tube or further into London, you will certainly be charged £12.50 if your car is non-compliant. We can organise a cab via reception for you which may prove cheaper.

From North London:

Take the A111 through Cockfosters heading towards the M25. After a mile, you will see West Lodge Park prominently on the right hand side. Turn right into Ferny Hill and immediately left into the hotel drive.

From the Airports by public transport:

London Heathrow – take the Piccadilly Line from Heathrow to Oakwood then a cab to the hotel

London Luton –take the train to Kings Cross, then the Piccadilly Line to Oakwood, then a cab to the hotel

London City – take the DLR to Bank, the Northern Line to Kings Cross, the Piccadilly Line to Oakwood, then a cab to the hotel

London Stansted – take the Stansted Express to Tottenham Hale, the Victoria Line to Finsbury Park, the Piccadilly Line to Oakwood, then a cab to the hotel

By Underground:

The best way to reach West Lodge Park by public transport is by tube to Oakwood. Travel by Piccadilly Line to Oakwood Underground station. There is a taxi office in the station open until the last train of the evening. Do not try to walk to the hotel from the tube as the road is rather busy.

If travelling into London, Cockfosters Tube is just a mile away from the hotel.

It has unlimited car parking, which costs £5.50 per day midweek, £2.50 per day Saturdays, and £1.60 per day Sundays and bank holidays. Download parking information.

From there you can purchase a Travelcard (details here Zone 5 https://tfl.gov.uk/fares/find-fares/tube-and-rail-fares/caps-and-travelcard-prices) which gives you unlimited tube and bus trips across London all day.

If you don’t have a car for travelling into town, ask reception to book you a cab and on your return we recommend you get off at Oakwood Tube station where there is a cab office open until the last train back from central London.

The Piccadilly Line is really the best line for seeing all the sights of London, as it goes via Kings Cross St Pancras, then Holborn for the British Museum, Covent Garden, Leicester Square for all the cinemas and theatres, as well as National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery, then Piccadilly Circus for Regent St and Fortnum and Mason, then Green Park for Buckingham Palace, then Hyde Park Corner, then Knightsbridge for Harrods and Harvey Nicholls, and then South Kensington for the Natural History, Science, and V&A museums.

And from Cockfostersand Oakwood you always, always get a seat as it is the beginning of the line!

By Train:

Travel from Kings Cross or Moorgate to Hadley Wood or Potters Bar every 20 minutes or half an hour. It is a short taxi ride to the hotel, however there is no taxi rank at the station, so Oakwood Tube is still the better option, and with more frequent trains.
