Beekeeping Experience & Arboretum Tours – discover nature’s wonders
For those who love the great outdoors, join expert beekeepers Mary and Ronald Hunter for a fascinating Beekeeping Experience (Saturday 9th May or Saturday 13th June). The day includes:
- A visit to West Lodge Park’s beehives (weather permitting)
- A three-course lunch in the Mary Beale Restaurant
- Morning and afternoon refreshments
- A jar of West Lodge Park honey to take home
Or, you might choose to join our Managing Director, Andrew Beale, to explore the Beale Arboretum, followed by either a delicious lunch or a traditional English afternoon tea.
Paul Jaffa plays George Michael – Saturday, 16th May
Paul presents one of Britain’s most gifted musicians of the last 40 years, combined with songs from ‘Wham’ – Includes Wake me up before you Go Go, Freedom, Careless Whisper, Father Figure, A different Corner, Faith, Club Tropicana, Jesus to a Child, Fast Love and many more.

Spring Garden Open Day – Sunday, 17th May
Visit the Beale Arboretum on Sunday 17th May 2026, 2.00pm–5.00pm, and enjoy the trees and shrubs as they come into beautiful spring colour, while supporting the National Garden Scheme and helping to raise funds for charities including Macmillan Nurses. Guided tours will be available throughout the afternoon with no need to book, and afternoon teas will be served on the bar terrace or in the lounge; booking is advised.
Summer BBQ Series
Enjoy a laid‑back summer evening exploring the Beale Arboretum before heading to the terrace for live music and a barbecue. Join us on Fridays 5th June, 3rd July, 24th July and 14th August 2026, with a menu including harissa lamb flatbread, a lobster and crayfish roll, Korean chicken bao, and either a Beales beef or halloumi burger with rosemary fries and salad. Food not included in the ticket price.
Father’s Day lunch – the perfect tribute to Dad
Make Father’s Day (Sunday 21st June) extra special with a three-course classic Sunday lunch in the Mary Beale Restaurant. As you dine, enjoy live piano melodies from Paul Jaffa, and dad will even receive a special gift to mark the occasion. Before or after your meal, take a peaceful walk through the arboretum or relax on the terrace with beautiful garden views.
Greatest songs of the 70’s – Saturday, 11th July
Step back in time, Paul takes you on a roller-coaster journey with songs like Ain’t no stopping us Now, Harvest for the World, Fernando, In the Summertime, How deep is your Love, and more.

Kids’ Summer Party – fun, games & bubbles!
On Wednesday 29th July (2pm–4pm), we’re hosting a fantastic children’s party (ages 5–10) packed with games, activities, and even a bubble dance party! (£15 per child, includes squash and snacks). Parents can relax at the drinks station while the little ones have a blast.
Tuscan Gourmet Evening – Friday 18th September
Join us for an evening of great food and fine wines from the Tuscany region. The themed four-course meal will include a specially selected glass of wine to complement each course.
