Let me tell you more about the Beale Arboretum
– Andrew Beale, Managing Director
Hotel guests are welcome to visit the grounds at any time, and the public can visit Monday – Friday afternoons from April to October.
Visiting the Arboretum
The Arboretum is open to the public every afternoon 2pm - 5pm. No guided tours are available on these afternoons, but descriptive leaflets are available from reception and teas are available in the hotel from £13.00 per person.
Admission £2.50, children are free, payable at reception.
Admission is FREE if you have a drink or meal in the bar, lounge or restaurant at the hotel, or if you are a resident in the hotel or attending a function or conference.
Conducted tours for private parties
Private conducted tours of the arboretum for groups (minimum 10 persons, no maximum) can be arranged if booked in advance, normally on weekdays.
The walk round the trees usually takes one and a half hours, and is taken by the Managing Director Andrew Beale or the Estates Manager Grant Cook.
The charge for these conducted tours is FREE midweek, and £3.50 per person at weekends.
We recommend you organise tea at the hotel before or after your group tour.
